It is a vine grown for its fruit, which can be either harvested young to be consumed as a vegetable, or harvested mature to be dried and used as a utensil. Gourds grow in a variety of shapes: they can be huge and rounded, small and bottle shaped, or slim serpentine. They can grow to be over a metre long. When it is fresh, the fruit has a green smooth skin and white flesh, sweet tasting.

Wonder gourd is a high potassium product, it encourages strong growth and development of cells which in turn gives stems and stalks good strength. Potassium also encourages fruit growth rather than vine or leaf growth so will be a good addition for the gourds.

How to use
Add 250ml to 1 litre of water, soak soil around the base of each plant. Use on young active and mature plants.

When to use
Feed every 7-14 days from early spring to late summer (mar-sept)
Flowers and Mature plants – all year around for optimum health

Where to use
Use on all varieties of Gourds, Calabash, Pumpkins, Marrows. Use on pots, growbags, open ground.
