Germination of seeds

Please note seed is a live product that depends on many important related grower skills such as proper planting time, seed depth, and type of soil, watering, proper use of fertilizers, weed controls, fungicides, insecticides, disease-free soil, and reasonable weather conditions during the growing period. Germination is affected by such factors as temperature, moisture content, light intensity, and contamination of planting media.

Although we do everything possible to get seeds to you in the best possible condition and will provide as much help as possible, these factors are totally outside of our control and once you receive the seeds it’s over to you.

Consequently, we can take no responsibility for the suitability to your local conditions of any variety offered, the indicative cultivation advice provided, or ultimately the variety’s performance. As such you should seek local advice to carefully ensure your local conditions and the time of season are appropriate to the variety purchased.

Plants

Our promise is that plants will arrive at you alive and in a healthy condition. Plants may look limp and dull, this is normal as they have been in the dark. Some broken leaves are not classed as damaged.

We will refund you if the gourd plants have been damaged (the main growing stem is broken in the middle) in transit, please provide photo evidence in its original packaging so that we can process your refund.

excluding the tip of the gourd vine, this may have been curved to pack. The broken tip will split to grow another vine, this will improve the male and female stems for pollution. This is excluded from the refund.

We accept no liability for the plant in your care (i.e. Lack/overwatering- poor soil conditions) after you have received the healthy plant. All plants have their own life cycle and will respond to the environments the owner provides for the plants.

Fertiliser

The dosage instructions and recommendations for all the plant fertilizers are based on empirical values. Since each plant reacts differently in its life cycle based on location, soil types, conditions, and history of fertilizers, we do not assume any liability for damages, especially with aberrant dosages.
